Scandinavian Spacious Attic Apartment Sizzles with Pristine Charm

For big cities, space is definitely becoming a premium, but it seems that this trend is spreading to smaller centers and towns as well. That’s why designers and architects, and even clients, are quickly coming up with creative ideas and innovative design schemes which will turn even the dullest corner into a vibrant room.

An example is this 55 sqm Swedish apartment. While not exactly cramped on space, it is a great example of how one can maximize what is on offer by using smart ideas, a great color pallet (usually white for Scandinavian apartments) and appropriate décor.

Tasteful Display of Contemporary Design in a Cozy Moscow Apartment

With a total surface of 67 square meters, this cozy apartment in Moscow envisioned by studio Odnushechka did not leave us indifferent. The project consisted in the rehabilitation of a cramped space with a poor layout. For the architects, the main challenge was to get rid of various design elements that made the apartment feel unwelcoming and create an open space living area for socializing- all within a relatively tight surface.

Ceramic Designer’s Residence Looks Like Modern Barn

Different tints and shades of white play an awesome game here. Does this have anything that gives a clue that this is a ceramic designers’ house? Why anything, in fact, everything implies to the same in one way or the other. Let’s take a tour through Norwegian-based ceramic designerSilje Aune Eriksen’s beautiful residence.

To complement the light tone of the rooms, contrasting accessories have been used. If you notice, every room has stuff ranging from lighter tomes to dark colors like jet black. The animal and bird figures and motifs also form part of the rooms. Even the kitchen is not spared. The arrangement of the rooms in certain angles put forward a messed up look, bringing in some funny charm.

Classical Scandinavian Interior With Art Accents

This amazing home in modern style belongs to Danish jewelry designer Stine A. Johansen. Stine has decorated the apartment with a mix of design classics and flea market finds. The interior is very calm – white walls and simple wooden floor of natural color, all the furniture is also simple and minimalist, and this creates a great frame for the works of art displayed. All the objects are very colorful, they bring a fresh touch to every room. It’s kind of a classical Scandinavian home with bright accents made with the help of cool pictures.

Fascinating Black Pearl Studio in Rotterdam

The aptly named Black Pearl Studio is an ambitious complete renovation by Studio Rolf.fr and Zecc Architecten. This incredible interior design has a lot of inspiration to offer those who have a desire to delve in to the details.

The interior is distinctly industrial, but the furnishings (some of which are by Studio Rolf.fr) are a wonderfully unconventional mix of contemporary minimalism and rough rustic whimsy. One unique feature after another serves to delight the imagination – a hot tub on the roof, surprising textures on select ceilings, and a full workshop on the ground floor. The home decor seems strongly inspired by the spirit of sculpture.
